Police found cocaine worth nearly £7000 in a safe during a raid on a Hamilton dad's home. Inside that was 206g of cocaine with a value of £6900."The accused made no reply when charged."Defence agent Elspeth Forrest said she appreciated that the value of the cocaine and her client's record added up to a serious situation.But she told Sheriff Andrew McIntyre: "It's 12 years since he served a custodial sentence and he's never had one for drugs offences."Mrs Forrest said Nicholas has family responsibilities and asked that his bail be continued while background reports are prepared.The sheriff agreed to do that and deferred sentence until next month.He told Nicholas: "This is very serious but it's a long time since you served a prison sentence."So I'll pause and find out more about your circumstances before making a decision."All options are open and you should
