This speculation gained traction when Dakota was seen during the last weekend without her huge engagement ring while walking her dog, piquing interest about the couple's current relationship status.Although Dakota was frequently spotted grooving along at the musician's gigs in times past, she was notably absent from Coldplay's recent shows in Germany during the European segment of their Music of the Spheres world tour.
A source revealed to Mail Online: "Chris and Dakota have tried desperately hard over the past few months to make their relationship work.
They'll always have love for each other but they've both come to the conclusion the relationship cannot be sustained long-term."The source further disclosed that the demanding nature of their careers played a significant role, with Martin occupied with Coldplay's European tour and both having to manage "personal priorities, passions and work commitments".
