Chloe Madeley has suggested that she and her soon-to-be ex-husband James Haskell both are to blame for the end of their five-year marriage. The 36-year-old former Dancing on Ice star first tied the knot with 38-year-old rugby player James in 2018 and the couple went on to welcome their baby girl Bodhi in August 2022.The duo were previously said to have a rock solid relationship but rumours began to circulate that there was trouble in paradise last October when a documentary series about their lives aired on ITV.

The show followed Chloe and James' happy life together with their daughter, while in real time the couple were forced to announce they had actually split after photos of James cosying up with a mystery blonde went viral while the series was on air.In the months that followed, the former couple have taken barbed swipes at each other through the media, the Mirror reports.Personal trainer Chloe has now hinted that she has noticed it's not the best idea for her and James to be making public digs at one another.During an online Q&A with fans, she gave a telling response when one follower asked her for the "Best advice to be happy?" Addressing the question, Chloe replied: "Just be nice to people and you'll feel so much better about yourself and your life.

I recently learned that fighting fire with fire does, in fact, leave you feeling burned.” She added: "Surround yourself with people who impress you with their kindness and aim to pay it back, and forward." Her comments come just hours after James opened up about the breakdown of their marriage on Channel 5’s The Jeremy Vine Show on Friday.
