His club manager essentially admitted that the situation is a distraction and it seems to be developing fast. Corriere della Sera say Roma have 'enquired' about the 23-year-old - who is viewed as an alternative to Matias Soule and Leeds' Crysencio Summerville.
They also say the asking price is around €10m (£8.4m), which is higher than previously reported elsewhere.That sort of investment would likely require Celtic to move someone on first with plenty wide options currently available to Brendan Rodgers.
Daizen Maeda, Luis Palma and Nicolas Kuhn will compete for spots alongside the likes of Hyungjun Yang and Mikey Johnston - the latter looking most likely to be sold after an impressive loan at West Brom.Elsewhere, L'Equipe in France have suggested Celtic are still in the market for Yvon Mvogo, appearing to get the wrong end of the stick on the Hoops' keeper situation.
