He did it again! Carlos Alcaraz crushed Novak Djokovic during the men’s finals tennis match on Sunday (July 16) at London’s The Championships, commonly known simply as Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old Spaniard completely overpowered the 37-year-old Serbian in three devastating straights sets, 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4).

During last year’s Wimbledon, the five-hour match between the pair went to five sets, 1-6, 7-6 (6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4. Keep reading to find out more… This is Carlos‘s fourth Grand Slam win – French Open 2024, Wimbledon 2023, US Open 2022. Carlos becomes the sixth (and youngest) player to win both Wimbledon and the French Open in the same year, aka Channel Slam, in the Open Era.

Also accomplishing this mighty feat include Rod Laver (1969), Bjorn Borg (1978-80), Rafael Nadal (2008, 2010), Roger Federer (2009) and Djokovic (2021).
