Cara Delevingne says being sober helped her cope with $7M LA house fire: ‘I would still be reeling’

Delevingne’s Los Angeles home caught fire on March 15. She was in London for her stage role as Sally Bowles in “Cabaret” the night of the blaze.Her cats were inside the house but they were rescued by firefighters.

One person was reportedly injured in the incident.Delevingne had stopped drinking and doing drugs after a rehab stint before the fire.“Of course it affected me, it’s super sad,” she said about the incident. “It never won’t be.

But I don’t use it as a tool to keep myself sad.”Delevingne added: “I used to think drugs and alcohol helped me cope … but they didn’t, they kept me sad and super depressed.
