Imane Khelif is taking legal action against those who harassed her online on her path to winning the Gold Medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Algerian boxer had her gender wrongly questioned as she competed in the women’s boxing competition with many online incorrectly suggesting that she was transgender.

After a week of vitriol online, Imane overcame it all to win the Gold Medal in the ring. Now that she’s done competing, she is responding to the controversy in the courtroom.
