Britney Spears is walking back an alarming post shared to her social media. The 42-year-old posted a scathing statement on Friday afternoon (July 26), slamming Halsey over her new music video for her latest song “Lucky,” which samples Britney‘s 2000 single of the same name.

Previously, Halsey said that she had Britney‘s blessing for the sample, but Britney was not very pleased with the music video for the song and was considering legal action.
