Body discovered in California mountains where British actor Julian Sands went missing
manchestereveningnews.co.ukHikers have discovered human remains in a California mountain area where British actor Julian Sands disappeared over five months ago, according to authorities.
The 65-year-old from Otley in West Yorkshire failed to return from a hike in the Mount Baldy area of the San Gabriel mountains on January 13.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said civilian hikers had contacted authorities on Saturday morning after finding the remains in the Mount Baldy area.
The remains have now been transported to the Coroner’s Office, pending positive identification, the department said.
