glamour.com, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are firmly pro-Converse as the battle for the sneaker of the summer heats up. And they're making a persuasive case. (Best white sneakers on the market? .)The power couple stepped out in New York City wearing lightly coordinated casual outfits, both in shades of blue with matching cuffed pants.
Lively wore light wash denim mom jeans (complimentary) and a racerback tank, accessorized with sunglasses and a straw purse.
Reynolds chose navy pants, a sky blue collared shirt, very similar sunglasses, and a baseball camp bearing the emblem of the soccer team he co-owns, Wrexham A.F.C.Both actors, who share four children, chose Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars, Lively going for brown while Reynolds opted for white with grey socks.
Reynolds loves his white Converse. Not that Converse have ever been out of style, but they're definitely having a moment right now.
