An audio recording of Billy Ray Cyrus in a heated argument with ex Firerose has leaked. The 62-year-old musician and actor can reportedly be heard calling the 35-year-old singer a number of names and insulting her, and following the leaked audio, he has shared a statement on social media seemingly in response. He called her an “idiot,” a “dumba–,” and accused her over walking all over him and not listening. He also talks about her health issues.

However, sources close to him say the recording is “heavily edited and doesn’t accurately depict the situation,” the outlet reports. “I don’t think you’re real smart.
