Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland are working together to help Houston’s unhoused population

Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland are working with Harris County officials to help build 31 permanent housing units for local unhoused people, the Houston Chronicle reports.

County leaders will use $7.2 million in American Rescue Plan funds to develop the housing. In addition to the housing, the Knowles-Rowland House project will have create employment opportunities for case managers, peer specialists, service specialists, and support services including transportation, mental health, physical and behavioral health support.
