A range of jobs are available at a variety of skill levels and working patterns.A total of six positions are currently available in the island's capital Stornoway.
These are a Domestic Assistant, a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, a Senior Procurement Officer, a Laundry Assistant, an Anaesthetic Nurse, and an Endoscopy Team Lead Nurse.Salaries for the positions start at between £23,362 and £25,368 for the Domestic Assistant and Laundry Assistant roles, while the Specialist Clinical Pharmacist job pays as much as £53,789.
Meanwhile, all of the positions also include a yearly 'Distant Island Allowance' of £1,279.The roles would be perfect for anybody looking to get away from the noise of modern living and live somewhere more peaceful and remote.
