BBC Two's Great British Menu to see award-winning Scottish chefs compete

Four renowned Scottish chefs will compete on the latest series of BBC Two's Great British Menu this month.The nineteenth season of the popular BBC cooking competition, which premiered last month, sees celebrated chefs from across the UK vying to secure a place cooking at the prestigious Great British Menu banquet.

The theme of this year is the Olympics and Paralympics, with the chefs hoping to cook at a banquet wishing the UK's athletes luck as they head to the Paris 2024 Games.On February 13, chef-patron of Amuse in Aberdeen Kevin Dalgleish and chef-patron of Edinbane Lodge on the Isle of Skye Calum Montomery will both make their second appearance on the series.

They will be competing alongside Ajay Kumar, chef-patron of Swadish by Ajay Kumar in Glasgow, and David Millar, executive chef at Jupiter Artland outside of Edinburgh.

Scotland's 'most welcoming' town home to scenic walks and a 'hidden gem' hotel The episode will see the four chefs prepare canapés, starters, and fish dishes.
