Strictly's Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell have responded to claims from fans that they were undermarked during the weekend's show.

The 47-year-old comedian, who is the first blind contestant on the show, took to the dance floor with professional partner Dianne, 35, performing a salsa to Men At Work's Down Under on Saturday evening.

Despite judge Craig Revel Horwood's praise, saying: "I thought it was bonza" an Aussie term for excellent or great, he awarded them a mere six points, leading to boos from the crowd.

The other judges - Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, and Shirley Ballas - each gave the pair eights, culminating in a score of 30.
