Karen Hauer has spoken out following her first performance on Strictly Come Dancing with Paul Merson. The professional dancer didn't hide the fact she had a challenge on her hands with their song choice for week one of the BBC dance competition.

Following the pre-recorded launch show last weekend, the competition officially kicked off on Saturday night (September 21) as the celebrities and their professional dance partners performed together for the first time.

But during and after their first live performance, viewers were flocking to social media to slam the choice of song for Paul and Karen's first performance of the series.
