Chris McCausland has revealed his daughter's concerns about him taking part in Strictly Come Dancing. The comedian is among the 15 new celebrities who are taking to the ballroom this year.
Chris, who is paired with professional dancer Dianne Buswell, is the first blind contestant to appear on the hit BBC dance contest and has revealed that his 10-year-old daughter, Sophie, is worried that he will fall on the dancefloor.
He wrote in his 'Strictly' diary for The Telegraph: "I showed my 10-year-old daughter a clip of the show and asked her if I should do it. 'No, Daddy,' she said. 'You'll fall off the stage and break your leg.' She's a joker at heart, but she's got a point." But I've checked and there is no stage so the joke's on her..." He quipped: "I sincerely hope they will have wrapped the cameras in layers of foam just in case.
