BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden emotionally admits 'new' version of herself and says 'I don't care'
manchestereveningnews.co.ukAmy Dowden has emotionally reflected on how far she has come since facing a breast cancer diagnosis. The dancer is currently preparing for her return to Strictly Come Dancing after being forced to miss the 2023 series.
Last May, Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump just before heading on her honeymoon with Ben Jones following the dream wedding.
She quickly underwent a mastectomy and then bravely faced a tricky course of chemotherapy treatment that saw her face a number of serious health setbacks.
It also meant she couldn't take part in last year's series of her beloved Strictly.
