Strictly Come Dancing fans have been told to 'keep watching' amid romance rumours between one couple. An expert has weighed in saying feelings 'run deeper than the dancefloor' for Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola as fans continue to hope for a romantic spark between the pair.

The former Coronation Street star and the Italian dancer will be back in the ballroom on Saturday night (December 9) as the competition reaches the semi-final stage.

It comes after all the remaining couples were put straight through to the penultimate week of the BBC One dance contest following Nigel Harman's sudden exit from Strictly 2023 after he suffered a rib injury.

As they hope to make it through to the grand final, Ellie, 22, and Vito, 31, will perform Cha-Cha to the Bette Midler version of 'Mambo Italiano', and a Couples' Choice dance to a Dua Lipa medley in the penultimate week of the competition with a week to go until the grand final on Saturday, December 16.
