Charlie Stayt from BBC Breakfast had to apologise for technical glitches during a segment paying homage to the late Maggie Smith.
On-air with co-host Nina Warhurst, they were chatting with Lady Fiona Carnarvon about Dame Maggie Smith's death on 27 September, when pesky tech troubles interrupted the tribute.
Dame Maggie, iconic for her roles in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, passed away in hospital aged 89, leaving a sea of admirers in mourning.
While delving into Lady Carnarvon's fond memories of Maggie at Highclere Castle, they faced several on-air disruptions. After their heartfelt talk, where Nina extended wishes of happy memories to Lady Carnarvon, Charlie chimed in with apologies: "Yeah, apologies, a little bit of fallout there on the line, there was a bit of interference", reports the Manchester Evening News.
