Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Roadside Attractions and Samuel Goldwyn Films have acquired U.S. rights to “Bring Him to Me,” a mob thriller starring Barry Pepper (“Saving Private Ryan”) and Sam Neill (“Jurassic Park”).
The film will open in select theaters and on digital on Jan. 19, 2024. Written by Tom Evans and directed by Luke Sparke, “Bring Him to Me” centers on a mild-mannered getaway driver (Pepper).
His conscious is tested when his mob boss asks him to collect a young and unsuspecting new crew member, known as Passenger (Jamie Costa), one week after a violent robbery.
The driver must battle his conscience as he takes the passenger to an uncertain fate. The cast also includes Rachel Griffiths, Liam McIntyre and Zac Garred. “My goal with ‘Bring Him to Me’ was to bring a talented team together to make a suspenseful and action-packed film that explores loyalty and moral dilemmas,” Sparke said in a statement. “I’m thrilled that audience will get to see the film in theaters.” Photon Films will release the film in Canada.
