AMID a string of cancellations, one TV favourite has found itself saved by a rival streaming network just one week after it was axed.
The series Three Women was binned by Showtime before it had even aired its very first season. Shailene Woodley headed up the cast of the female heavy drama series though it appeared that it may never make it to air when Showtime announced it was dropping the show following the announcement that it would be rebranding as part of the Paramount+ service.
In an exciting breakthrough for fans however, rival streamer Starz has picked up the show, reports The Hollywood Reporter. It also revealed how the show had been shopped to a variety of networks in order to secure that it was picked up following its cancellation.
HBO and Amazon were also in the mix to bring the show to life before Starz secured the deal.
