Her afternoons are spent with composer Melissa Vardy, who takes her through “30 minutes of breath work followed by sonically aligning” the Making the Band alum with “energy vibrations through humming.”Next, it’s off to the studio, where O’Day lays it bare by getting personal in her songwriting.“My songs ‘Couple Goals’ and ‘Unborn Love’ — which I wrote about my recent miscarriage — are alternative rock,” she tells Us. “So I’m getting back into playing the guitar.”“Unborn Love” was released just two weeks after O’Day revealed she suffered a miscarriage.
