Amanda Holden has shared a piece of advice with her fans and followers as she was seen breaking down in tears over her teenage daughter.
The Britain's Got Talent judge was seen crying to her celebrity pal Alan Carr about her daughters growing up and leaving home.
She shared the clip taken from the pair's BBC One show, Amanda and Alan's Italian Job to Instagram this week in which she got emotional as she talked about the prospects of daughters Lexi, 18, and Hollie, 12, who she shared with her husband Chris Hughes, flying the nest. "When your children, when they leave home, you only spend a year of your life with them ever again," Amanda was heard saying to comedian and presenter Alan. "They say you have 18 summers and then you're lucky to see them." While crying she added: "It's so terrible because you wish so much of it away when you're a busy parent. You're like 'shushh or hurry up or what', or your on your phone, or cooking dinner, or something goes wrong... "And then you go 'oh my gosh', then you turn around and they're not even there.
