Albion Rovers boss Sandy Clark says young players in the loan market are perfect for his club as they make their way in the Lowland League.Left-back Callum Hannah, 18, last week joined the Coatbridge club on loan from Championship side Raith Rovers until the end of this season, joining Aaron Quigg, who was snapped up from Premiership Kilmarnock on a similar deal. That doesn’t look like being the end of Clark’s moves in that direction, over the next few days.He said: “I think there might still be a little bit of movement, there’s still scope to bring in at least one more loan player.“I’ve got two gaps, so I’m going to have a wee look at it and see what happens over the next few days.”Clark says it’s a situation that works well for the Cliftonhill club and the players themselves. He said: “Young players on loan are certainly ones who are worth looking at.“It certainly helps them and without a doubt, as was shown last week with Aaron’s goal, it helps us.“We’re delighted to get young Callum into the group, he’s a big lad, hopefully he will do well for us.“We’ve been a little bit short of numbers, regarding the bench, for recent games.“Hopefully they will develop well within our environment.“You get a lot of inconsistency with young players, but what you need is to make sure you’ve got the right people round about them.“They have talent, they’ve just got to learn the game, and how quickly they do that becomes important to the player and ourselves.”Hannah said: “It’s a really good opportunity for me to get minutes at a good level, for a team that are doing fairly well.“I want to get out there, I want to play.”Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onX via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news,
