Danny Cipriani's wife Victoria Rose has claimed he publicly announced their split without telling her first. The 36 year old former rugby player confirmed the split on Instagram last week, saying: "Whilst we've had some wonderful times together, we've also recognised we're on different journeys and whilst this is sad news, it's also a new chapter for us both to pursue our own happiness.

I only wish the best for Victoria and her children." Victoria, who recently took a swipe at Danny, has since claimed she was blindsided by the public announcement saying she was made aware "at the same time as the public" in a now-deleted social media post.

She wrote: "Danny publicly announced our split without any prior notice or discussion with me. I was made aware of the situation at the same time as the public, and this has caused me a great deal of pain.

I apologise if my reactions and responses have seemed reactive or emotionally charged." The 42 year old went on to say: "The truth is I am still going through a difficult time and it is challenging to see Danny speaking about our separation publicly while I have not yet found the strength to process it, adjust or heal.
