You can get free chicken sandwiches at Popeyes' first ever Manchester restaurant

This week, American fried chicken restaurant, Popeyes, officially opens the doors to its first restaurant in Manchester. The chicken spot, which is known to attract massive queues will be located at One Piccadilly Gardens and launches at 11am on Thursday (26 October) It marks the brand’s 16th opening in 2023, and the chain’s 33nd opening since landing in the UK in November 2021.

Last November, the popular chicken restaurant also opened its first North West store in Liverpool. Last month, Popeyes saw customers queue for more than 18 hours ahead of the first site in Scotland.

The new Manchester restaurant is expected to be equally popular, and they're encouraging visitors to arrive early to be in with a chance of winning exclusive prizes including free chicken sandwiches. On Thursday, the first three people in the queue will win free chicken sandwiches for a whole year. Plus, the first 25 customers in the queue will also be rewarded with a free chicken sandwich and will be gifted some official Popeyes merchandise.
