Reports coming out of Italy have suggested the Reds have agreed personal terms with the player with Erik ten Hag looking to add to his squad following an encouraging first season at Old Trafford.
The midfielder impressed for his country during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as Morocco finished in fourth place following a 2-1 third-place play-off loss to Croatia.
And now RAI [via Sportskeeda] reports that United have 'agreed personal terms' with Amrabat. Ten Hag had targeted a new midfielder in this summer's transfer window, although it remains to be seen whether another will join alongside Mason Mount after United agreed a £55million fee plus £5million in further add-ons with Chelsea for the England international.
The Reds are working within a strict budget due to Financial Fair Play concerns, although their kitty can be increased through player sales.
