Cases of tuberculosis (TB) have risen above pre-Coronavirus cases with health authorities stressing that 'collective action' needs to be taken.
TB is a bacterial infection that affects the lungs and throat and can become serious if left untreated. New data published on Thursday (February 15) shows cases increased by 10.7 per cent in 2023 from the previous year as more than 4,500 people were diagnosed with it last year.
