'Vulnerable' Scots OAP vanishes from home sparking urgent police search

A vulnerable 85-year-old woman has gone missing from her Edinburgh home sparking an urgent police search.Officers from Police Scotland say Moira Sutherland, also known as Robertson, was last seen on Dalmeny Street in the Leith area of the city.She was spotted at around 1.30pm on Saturday, September 23, but has failed to return.

The pensioner is described as being around 4ft 10in tall, with thin grey hair and is of thin build.She is wearing blue leggings, a grey jumper and a purple jacket with a lilac fur collar.Inspector Grant McCulloch from Craigmillar Police Station said: “Moira is vulnerable and we must trace her as a matter of urgency.“I am appealing for anyone who might have seen Moira in the Leith area on Saturday to please get in touch with Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 2144 of 23 September, 2023.” Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - Sign up to our daily newsletter here .
