A new Netflix documentary about the life and career of cycling legend Mark Cavendish has left viewers in tears. An hour-and-a-half film titled Mark Cavendish: Never Enough debuted on the streaming platform last week.

With exclusive access to Mark, his wife Peta, his team-mates, and his coaches, the film charts his rise, fall and resurrection.

The film sees the cycling legend and Olympic champion, from the Isle of Man, describe his battle with the Epstein-Barr virus and how a diagnosis of clinical depression left doctors worried about the prospect of self harm.

It also explores how a broken collarbone prematurely ended his bid to win a record-breaking 35th career Tour de France stage. Try MEN Premium for FREE by clicking here for no ads, fun puzzles and brilliant new features. Taking to Twitter, fans had an emotional reaction to the documentary.
