Two men have denied causing the death of Oldham teenager Alisha Goup by dangerous driving. Omar Choudhury, 21, and Hamidur Rahman, 23, are charged with causing death by dangerous driving after Alisha Goup was hit by a BMW while walking home from college on Rochdale Road on February 23 this year.
Appearing at Minshull Street Crown Court today (April 3), both men pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.
They were remanded into custody and a provisional trial date was set for August 7. READ MORE: Thug threatened woman with machete - when she fought back he squirted ammonia in her eyes Emergency services were called to Rochdale Road in Oldham at around 1:30pm following reports of a collision.
Alisha was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Mr Choudhury, of Broadway, Oldham, and Mr Rahman, of Tilbury Street, Oldham, will next appear in court on June 23 for a further case management hearing. Read the latest headlines here. READ NEXT:
