Tragedy as dad found dead in Liverpool city centre hotel while on stag do

A dad was found dead in his hotel room while on a stag do. The man, believed to to be in his late 40s, was found at the Eleanor Rigby apartments on Stanley Street in Liverpool city centre at about 9am yesterday (Sunday).

Paramedics were called but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Paul Fleming, the owner of the hotel, said the man had been staying with a group of around 13 other men on a stag do from Cumbria, the Liverpool ECHO reports.
