Today the Trafford Centre opened its doors to thousands of shoppers for the Boxing Day sales. While the likes of Next and M&S remained closed, many shops were open to the public.

In what is a tradition for many, some people were at the Trafford Centre as early as 8:30am or waited in hour-long queues to get to the deals first.
