Tommy Doyle put his Player of the Match performance for Sheffield United against Tottenham down to a desire to prove he can be a Premier League player.
Midfielder Doyle is on loan from Manchester City at Bramall Lane, and played a starring role as the Blades knocked out Premier League opposition to book a quarter-final spot against Championship rivals Blackburn.
As well as proving a point that he can compete against the best players, Doyle also outlined a motivation for helping Sheffield United to a Wembley semi-final - to follow in the footsteps of grandparents and City legends Mike Doyle and Glyn Pardoe.
