Mad Cool festival have unveiled the final line-up for this year’s iteration, spearheaded by the addition of new headliner Incubus.The ‘Drive’ rockers join as one of three acts set to close out the third day of the five-day festival (Friday July 8), headlining alongside Muse and Alt-J. They replace Queens Of The Stone Age, who according to a post on social media, have pulled out “for reasons beyond the control of the festival organisation”.A total of 19 acts were added to the line-up, including the likes of Don Broco, CL and NOISY.

Incubus might not be checking social media that often, given the guest appearance they brought out at a concert over the weekend. Last Friday (October 6), the rock band celebrated 23 years of their 2001 Morning View.

Incubus are set to re-record their seminal 2001 album ‘Morning View’.The new version of the record titled ‘Morning View XXIII’, will be released on October 6 via the band’s new label, Virgin Music.They are also set to support its release with a show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on the same day, where they will perform ‘Morning View’ in full.
