Three charged over 'hate crime' at student halls in Glasgow

Three people have been charged over an alleged hate crime and assault at a Scots student halls building, with a man taken to hospital.

Emergency services including Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service attended at Dunaskin Mill student halls, in the West End of Glasgow, around 2.40am.

The injured man was taken to hospital as a "precaution", police said. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Around 2.40am on Monday, September 19, officers received reports of hate crime and assault on Dunaskin Mill, Glasgow.

A 23-year-old man attended hospital as a precaution. “Two 22-year-old men and an 18-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.” Dunaskin Mill has been approached for comment.
