Jodie Prenger is best known for starring in Coronation Street, but she recently made her debut on ITV's This Morning.The actress hosted a segment on the hit daytime show as she ventures into presenting.The 45 year old star has undergone an impressive transformation over the years, having shed a staggering nine stone after overhauling her lifestyle.
She participated in the 2006 series of ITV reality show The Biggest Loser, dropping from 18st 2lb to 9st 9lbs - losing a total of 8.5 stone.The weight loss-orientated show, which finished in 2012, saw contestants battling it out amongst each other to lose the most percentage of their starting body weight, with a cash prize on the table for one lucky winner per series.
Jodie took home an incredible £25,000 for her life-changing weight loss. Speaking openly with The Sun, Jodie, who went from a size 26 to a size 12, revealed: "What that show did was teach me a lot about exercise and I enjoyed the process because we did it as a group.
But it wasn't realistic because they put you in a house and you did nothing else but that, so when real life comes in again, it's not sustainable." In another interview, Jodie shared that her weight has fluctuated in the years since, but she has always made sure to cut herself some slack.
