The two sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the Bernabeu last week but City warmed up for a second leg with a 5-1 win against Luton Town on Saturday.
After defeats for Liverpool and Arsenal on Sunday, that has left them with a second successive treble within their grasp. They drew in Madrid in the first leg of last season's semi-final before thrashing Carlo Ancelotti's side 4-0 at the Etihad, although Real looked to have improved since then and carry an added threat from Jude Bellingham. Simon Bajkowski Kyle Walker has to return if he is fit because of his unique ability to deal with Vinicius, but it is really hard to leave any of the defence out after their performances without Walker and Nathan Ake.
Josko Gvardiol has scored two terrific goals in a week yet it feels like he has to be the fall-guy given how good Manu Akanji has been.
