The Traitors star Tom Elderfield reveals 'strict' rule that could jeopardise prize money

The Traitors has been a smash hit with viewers since premiering as contestants seek out saboteurs among the group. Despite the deceit and jaw-dropping challenges - which include being buried alive - one of the biggest revelations of the series came when magician Tom Elderfield revealed his relationship with fellow contestant Alex Gray.The explosive breakfast scene caused tension and tears among the group, with remaining players concerned the pair could have an advantage if one or both of them were 'Traitors'.

However, after his elimination Tom set the record straight and dished the dirt on one very important rule players must follow to avoid losing the cash prize.

Speaking to RadioTimes.com, the 24-year-old magician said that a Traitor secretly revealing themselves to a Faithful would "sacrifice" the prize money.
