The Repair Shop's Jay Blades makes shocking discovery that he has 27 siblings

Jay Blades has discovered he has 27 brothers and sisters and it's possible that there could be more abroad. The Repair Shop star Jay calls his father Trevor "the man who contributed to my birth" as he doesn't see him as a father figure, writes The Mirror.Trevor left Jay's mother Barbara, taking all family's money and his BBC host son has admitted that he has only spoken to him four times in his life.Jay said he wouldn't talk to his father again after Trevor called him to ask for a favour and claimed it was down to him that he was so successful.

However, Jay contacted his biological father for a final time, to discuss the four people who had come forward claiming to be his siblings.

After speaking with a half-sister, Jay discovered that Trevor had fathered 25 children – 11 of which he has now met. He later discovered he has a total of 27 brothers and sisters.Speaking on The Big Fish podcast, Jay said: "The man who contributed towards my birth got my mum pregnant when she was about 16, 17, promised her that he's going to get a flat and they're going to live happily ever after, took the money and left her high and dry.

We ended up in a women's refuge."From there we went to live with her uncle and then we got a council house.
