Forecasters have predicted that much of the UK could experience a 'mini heatwave' over the coming days. Temperatures could rise to as high as 30C in some parts of the UK on Friday after a largely miserable first half of July.

The hottest weather is forecast at around 4pm on Friday as much of the country is hit by the 'mini heatwave'.
