Conde Nast Traveller highlighted Skyscanner's new feature that enables users to discover budget-friendly travel inspiration.The innovative tool, dubbed 'Savings Generator', utilises data to reveal the most affordable times of the year to travel, as well as the optimal times to book and the best-value destinations.
For the summer of 2024, Skyscanner has identified the prime week for holidaymakers aiming to save a few hundred pounds.According to CNT, the data suggests that UK travellers can enjoy a substantial 17 per cent saving if they choose to travel during the week beginning Monday, August 19.
Compared to the week starting Monday, July 22, a family of four could potentially save an average of £268 on their holiday. The findings also disclosed that over 40 per cent of Brits planning a summer holiday have yet to book flights, with 30 per cent actively seeking the best deal, while 23 per cent hold out for last-minute deals before booking, reports the Mirror.
