Terrified and stunned residents are pledging to help cops crackdown on crime gangs after shocking footage emerged of a violent war between two families.

Local councillors and Airdrie's MSP have also hit out at "the completely unacceptable level of violence" following the sickening incidents in Caldercruix, with one councillor saying "someone could end up dead".The incidents are understood to involve members of the notorious McPhee family and another family said to be the Williamsons.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
