Teenager arrested and section 60 order in place following altercation between 'two groups' in Failsworth
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA teenager has been arrested and a section 60 order put in place after a confrontation outside a supermarket in Failsworth. Police were called to reports of an altercation between two groups 'known to each other' on Ashton Road West on Monday (January 22).
Police say that at least one member of the group was thought to be in possession of a knife. Officers responded to incident which took place just before 4pm but say most of the suspects had left the area.
One teenager was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody. A section 60 order has been placed on the entirety of Failsworth which gives officers extra powers to stop and search individuals. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
