The teenage boy tragically killed in a car crash in Audenshaw on Saturday night has been named in floral tributes at the scene.

Police announced on Sunday that a 16-year-old male had died in the horror smash on Droylsden Road, at the junction with North Drive in Audenshaw, on Saturday evening.

He was a passenger in a white Vauxhall Corsa which collided with a lamppost. Now, scores of tributes have been left to the victim at the scene of the smash, which have named him locally as Ben Burbidge.

A GoFundMe page has also been set up for the young man to help pay for the costs of a funeral.
