Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Susanna Reid issues Good Morning Britain announcement but tells fans 'please don't panic'

Susanna Reid has issued an announcement to Good Morning Britain fans, urging them not to "panic".The GMB host had an important message for TV viewers as Thursday's (28 March) show came to a close.

Susanna, 53, and her co-host Richard Madeley, 67, bid farewell to viewers at the end of GMB on Thursday, but Susanna had a quick message for fans.

She said: "That brings us to the end of Good Morning Britain, we're back tomorrow from 6am. "I'm off for Easter, please don't panic, I'm back in a couple of weeks!" Seemingly confirming he won't be taking time off for Easter, Richard quipped: "Lucky old you!" It hasn't been revealed who will be filling in for Susanna while she enjoys some time away from GMB over Easter.

However, the likes of Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh and Charlotte Hawkins usually fill in for presenters when they are away. The main hosts of ITV's GMB, Lorraine and This Morning all typically tend to take a break over Easter.They also take time off during the summer months and around the festive period.
