Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier opened up on his couples choice song, ahead of this weekend, and explained that he "couldn't cry" when he was younger, except when he was listening to the lyrics in their dance song. The duo have opted for a contemporary style, with ballroom elements as they dance to Maxwell’s This Woman’s work.

Bobby and his professional dance partner, Dianne Buswell, appeared on Loose Women ahead of the highly-anticipated dance, where Bobby revealed his personal connections to the song.

When asked why he decided to choose the track, Bobby said: "Well, many reasons, I've always thought it was the perfect song, you know the way he sings it, the lyrics are profound and very impactful for me. "There's lyrics in particular, 'I should be crying but I just can’t let it show', and when I was a little bit younger and I was angry and resentful and I feared the world and just couldn't cry or express myself, It was those lyrics, hearing that, would just make me cry because it felt so true." Bobby also chatted about the song on It Takes Two with Fleur East where he admitted the song left him emotional. The EastEnders actor said: “It is the perfect song, sung by the perfect man and it is the perfect tone. The lyrics are just profound and touched me at my core, it is gorgeous.

I am going to have to work very hard this week to do it justice.” Bobby and Dianna are hoping to wow viewers and make a comeback after facing the dance-off in last week’s Blackpool special.
