Strictly Come Dancing star pulls out of final show after suffering two painful injuries
ok.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing star Nick Knowles has provided an update on his injuries after he was questioned on whether he’d be returning to the BBC show for one final dance.The 62-year-old didn’t have the easiest of journeys on the show, struggling with an arm injury in the second week after a mishap while changing a tyre.
In the third week, unfortunately he was forced to pull out due to a knee injury. He was then voted out with his partner Luba Mushtuk after facing Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu in the dance-off, making him the third celebrity to leave the show.
Last week, the DIY SOS star posted a picture from his hospital bed, telling fans he needed surgery for his knee. This led to one fan questioning if Nick would be joining the final dance at the end of the series, as they asked: “Will you still be able to do the end of series dance in the final.
Wouldn’t seem right you not being there.” However, according to Nick, it looks like his participation is unlikely. As per The Sun, the star responded: “I’m not sure my injuries will allow - I have to wait for the knee operation until the bicep operation has healed so I can use crutches afterwards.
