TV presenter Stephen Mulhern kicked off the latest season of In For A Penny with an episode in Scotland's Capital. Dressed in a golden kilt, Stephen challenged unsuspecting locals in Edinburgh to unique games which could see them bag cash prizes.

The ITV show has returned for a fifth season and will see Stephen travelling the country each episode. From bumping into a traditional dance teacher to learning about the term "weegie", the latest season's kick-off has a distinctly Scottish twang.One challenge in the show saw the veteran presenter challenge locals to one game which saw them scroll through their phone contacts without looking.

Once they stopped scrolling they had to phone whoever their finger was on and if the contact would pick up inside five rigs the local would get £20.Another Challenger saw a charades-like game in which locals using an ATM-machine were tasked to describe a celebrity on a bank note.

For each correct guess they received £10.And they also play the 'In For A Penny' game, in which for just 1p, a player has to complete a series of tasks which could see them bag £1,000.After the show had aired, Stephen tweeted: "Thank you for all your lovely message about the show tonight!
